Guy Laroche will launch a new version fragrance of Drakkar in 1972, Drakkar Noir in 1982 and Drakkar Dynamic in 1999. The name of new fragrance is Guy Laroche Drakkar Essence which available in July 2014. It's a aroma-fougere fragrance like Drakkar Noir in 1982 but less spicier than Drakkar Noir.
Guy Laroche Drakkar Essence opens with fresh grapefruit and cool mint. Followed by woody, lavender and sage. closed with musk and tonka. Michel Girard from Givaudan is a perfumer for Drakkar Essence. He said "this fragrance will increase confident to user."
